Lucknow barbershop est. 1974 — pick your face shape and the styler pairs cut and beard, then book a named ustaad’s chair by the half hour. The build runs as a 14-section page with 1,532 words of real copy and 10 images, and it holds up from desktop down to a 390px phone screen.

Inside the build
Four ustaads. Eighty-five years of hands between them. Scissor-over-comb cuts, straight-razor shaves finished with alum and attar, beards sculpted to the bone of your jaw — and a champi that empties your head of the whole week.
A city that never rushed a shave.Lucknow has always taken its time. The chikankari on a kurta takes eleven days. The dum of a biryani takes six hours over sealed dough. And in Hazratganj, a proper shave takes forty minutes — because the ustaad who taught our ustaad said a man who is hurried at the chin will be hurried all week.
