Furniture Store Website Design

A furniture site that carries dimensions, wood and finish options, lead times for made-to-order and delivery charges by city, so buyers stop asking basics on WhatsApp. Business Website from ₹24,999, live in 7–10 working days.

Furniture Store Website Design

A sofa is not an impulse buy. Someone measures the wall, argues about teak versus sheesham, works out whether it will fit through the lift door, and only then looks at price. Most furniture sites skip all of it and show a photograph, a product name and a figure, leaving the buyer to type “what is the size?” into WhatsApp at eleven at night.

We build the catalogue the way a showroom actually sells: browse by room, then by category, with every product carrying length, width and height in inches and centimetres, wood or board type, finish choices, seat depth where it matters, and a made-to-order lead time in weeks. Custom and modular enquiries collect room measurements before anyone picks up the phone. The three demos below — Halden, Oaken and ORNÉ Living — are live sites you can open on your phone right now and scroll.

Size, lead time and landed cost — the three numbers that decide the sale

Furniture buying in India runs on three numbers; the rest is decoration. Will it fit — length, width, height, and the doorway it has to pass through. When will it arrive — a piece in stock is a different promise from a made-to-order sheesham dining table that takes five weeks. What does it cost at the door — product, delivery, assembly, and whether there is an EMI on it.

Search behaviour here is predictable. It starts vague on Google or Instagram, moves to Pepperfry, Wakefit and Amazon for a price anchor, then comes back to a local maker for the one thing a warehouse will not do: a 5.5-foot bed instead of a 6-foot one, a wardrobe cut around a beam, the same design in walnut instead of teak. Customisation is your advantage, and most furniture websites bury it under a “Contact Us” link.

A second loss happens after the shortlist. Three tabs are open. Yours shows a photograph and ₹42,000. The other two show seat height, wood, finish options, delivery charge to that city, warranty on frame and hardware, and a lead time. The buyer does not decide your product is worse — only that finding out will take effort. Every missing specification becomes a WhatsApp message your staff answer by hand, and plenty of those messages are never sent at all.

Room-wise catalogue, custom enquiry and the delivery-charge table

The catalogue is the product. We build it as structured fields rather than a page of pictures, so filters, enquiry forms and price revisions all read from one place.

  • Browse by room first — living, bedroom, dining, study, outdoor — then by category, the way someone furnishing one room actually thinks.
  • Specification block on every product: length, width and height in inches and centimetres, seat height and depth, weight, wood or board type, finish family.
  • Finish and fabric swatches with real names — teak, sheesham, mango, rubberwood, MDF with laminate — and an honest note on solid versus engineered.
  • Lead time shown as in-stock or made-to-order in weeks, so a buyer with a possession date can self-select.
  • Delivery and assembly charge table by city or pin-code band, with the free-delivery threshold stated rather than hidden.
  • Custom furniture enquiry that captures room measurements, ceiling height, a photograph of the wall and a budget band before it reaches WhatsApp.
  • Separate modular kitchen and wardrobe flow: layout type, shutter material, hardware preference, site-ready date.
  • Room-view or 3D images beside every cut-out shot, with a scale reference so a 6-seater does not read as an 8-seater.
  • Showroom visit booking with store and slot selection, and a WhatsApp reminder on the morning of the visit.
  • Interior-designer and architect trade programme: registration form, trade price sheet on approval, repeat-order login.
  • Bulk and office furniture quote request that accepts an item list or BOQ upload and routes to a separate mailbox.
  • Warranty, care instructions and the freight-and-damage policy as real pages — what is covered on wood, what on hardware, what to do about a chipped panel and the window for reporting it.

Selling ready stock as well is the same catalogue running as an E-commerce Store with Razorpay, UPI, Shiprocket or Delhivery and GST invoices; our web development service covers both routes.

Where a marketplace beats you, and the searches you can still take

An honest line first. On “sofa set”, “dining table” or “bed price” you are not going to out-rank Pepperfry, Wakefit or Amazon, and paying anyone a monthly fee to try is money burnt. Those pages carry years of links behind them. Chasing them is the most common way a furniture business wastes a budget.

Winnable searches are the ones with intent attached. “Custom wardrobe with measurement”, “solid sheesham 6-seater dining table”, “modular kitchen shutter price”, “office workstation supplier”, “furniture showroom near me” — these come from people who have already rejected the marketplace. They are won on specification depth and on a Google Business Profile carrying real photographs of your floor. Our SEO work on furniture sites is mostly material and dimension pages, a fixed set of made-to-order guides, and cleaning up the profile.

There is also a case for not building much. If you make furniture for two or three builders and every order arrives through a contractor, a ₹24,999 Business Website with a clean catalogue, your company details and a WhatsApp button is the correct spend. Skip the store and skip the retainer.

After launch someone has to keep the catalogue true. Plywood and hardware rates move, and a price list four months stale creates an argument at the billing counter. We hand over an admin panel where your own staff change a price, a lead time or a delivery charge in under a minute, and we train one person on your team to do it — not a developer. Seasonality is real too: Akshaya Tritiya, Ganesh Chaturthi and the Diwali shifting window carry a disproportionate share of the year’s enquiries, so the new-collection page should be ready three weeks before, not on the day.

Prices exclude 18% GST. Most furniture businesses take Business Pro + SEO at ₹49,999, because the catalogue crosses 15 pages once rooms, materials, warranty and delivery policy are in; the E-commerce Store at ₹99,999 is worth it only when ready stock is genuinely being shipped.

Three tiers, and no others. Business Website at ₹24,999 covers up to 7 pages, mobile-first design, WhatsApp and click-to-call, contact form, on-page SEO basics, SSL and 30 days support, delivered in 7–10 working days. Business Pro + SEO at ₹49,999 covers up to 15 pages with a blog and SEO for 10 keywords. E-commerce Store at ₹99,999 covers up to 100 products with Razorpay, UPI and Shiprocket. All exclude 18% GST; 50% to start, 50% at launch.
Our office is in Pune and roughly 60% of our clients are elsewhere in India, so the process assumes distance. A WhatsApp group carries daily updates, reviews happen on Google Meet, and a shared content checklist tracks what is still pending from your side. Before launch we run a 40-point checklist. Domain, hosting, admin logins and analytics are created in your company’s name from day one.
If most of what you sell is made-to-order, heavy, or priced above thirty thousand rupees, enquiry-first works better — the catalogue does the qualifying and the sale closes on WhatsApp or in the showroom. If you also move ready stock such as chairs, storage and décor, put the store on those lines only. Halden and Oaken show the catalogue shape; ORNÉ Living shows the e-commerce one.
On an online store the price a customer sees should be the final one, with GST included and delivery or assembly charges shown before payment rather than after. The store issues a GST invoice on each order and keeps it in the customer’s account. Your GSTIN, company name and registered address go in the footer. E-way bills for freight stay with your accounts team, not the website.
Delivery and assembly charges sit in a table by city or pin-code band, with the free-delivery threshold stated openly. Made-to-order items show a lead time in weeks on the product page itself. The freight and damage policy is a real page: what to check at the time of delivery, the window for reporting a chipped or cracked panel, and what proof is needed.
You do. We hand over an admin panel where a member of your team changes a price, a lead time, a delivery charge or a photograph without touching code, and we train one person on it during handover — usually whoever tracks showroom stock. If you would rather not handle it, the care plan at ₹1,499 per month covers updates, backups and security.
